Checking Accounts Setup (Payroll)

All checking account information is stored in the Accounts Payable system, but can be accessed from both the Accounts Payable and the Payroll module. You can set up multiple checking accounts, define different ones for Payables and Payroll, or designate one account for both Payables and Payroll. If using Direct Deposit, it is helpful to have your ACH contract with your bank available when completing this screen.
  1. From the Main Menu, select Payroll -> Setup - Payroll -> Checking Accounts.
  2. Your screen should look similar to this:
  3. Note: If you already created a Checking Account in the Accounts Payable module, you will see that account listed on this screen.

  4. Since the Payroll and Accounts Payable Checking Accounts, use the same screen, please read Checking Accounts in Payables manual for the detailed instructions on setting up a new Checking Account.
