Whether you come here from the menu selection for print quote, or click on one of the print quote buttons from various lists, this allows you to create a printed quote or an email quote for the customer.
From the Main Menu select Printing then Print Orders then Print Quote. Your screen should look similar to this:
Enter the order number/quote number to be printed (or click on the Search button for advanced search.
When you have the order/quote number entered, click on the Next button to print the quote:
At the top of this screen there are places to enter the information required for emailing a copy of the quote:
Send Quote FROM this Email Address: This is the return email address you want on your email. If you have filled this in for your company information, it will auto-fill in here. You should enter a FROM address to prevent customer emails from bouncing the email or throwing it into their spam.
Send Quote TO this Email Address: This is the customer email address. If you enter an address here, then when you click on the PDF button, it will send a pdf copy of the quote to the customer.
If you have multiple quantities on the quote, you will see the quantity, details and total for each quantity separated by a bar.
If you click on the PDF Print button, your screen will pop up a pdf form that looks something like this:
The paragraph details at the bottom of the quote contain changeable data that you can set up in the SETUP section of this system.
